THE WOMAN’S VOTE
The 19th amendment guarantees all American women the right to vote. Achieving this milestone required a lengthy and difficult struggle; victory took decades of agitation and protest. Women Suffrage, Voting Rights Act 1965, Gender Gap in Voting, Power of the “Women’s Vote”. We support the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, expanded voter registration, and increased polling locations to eliminate barriers, ensure access, and upholdelectoral integrity.
VETERANS AFFAIRS
We strive to ensure female veterans receive the recognition, support, and resources they deserve, including housing assistance, job and education opportunities, and access to healthcare especially for mental health and service-related conditions.
DIVERSITY EQUITY AND INCLUSION
We stand on the front lines, championing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) as essential. Guided by the three Cs—Consumers, Constituents, and Commitment—we work to make DEI the norm. We call on consumers to support DEI-focused brands and recognize constituents as catalysts for policy change. As women rise from historic marginalization, groups like EmpowHER thrive, and organizations are adopting stronger policies to advance equality, opportunity, and leadership for all women..
GUN VIOLENCE AND MISSING & MURDERED BLACK WOMEN
We aim to elevate awareness of the crisis of missing and murdered Black women and girls—a grave human rights violation and public safety concern. Our advocacy focuses on prevention, improved response protocols, family support, and justice for victims. Key priorities include enhancing data collection and establishing a dedicated Department of Justice task force to investigate and prevent violence against Black women and girls.
CIVIL RIGHTS PROTECTIONS IN ONLINE AND AI ENVIRONMENTS
We are committed to equity, fairness, and justice in the digital age. As digital and AI technologies increasingly shape our daily lives, we recognize the urgent need to protect civil rights in these evolving spaces. It is essential that Black women are informed, protected, and empowered as they navigate these technologies. To that end, we support proactive policies that safeguard civil rights, combat misinformation, and prevent bias in AI systems.
Our priorities include launching public education campaigns on digital rights and the impact of AI, ensuring strong oversight of surveillance technologies to prevent disproportionate harm to Black communities, and advocating for comprehensive data privacy laws that address discriminatory practices. We also call for greater regulation and transparency in AI to eliminate algorithmic bias, particularly in critical areas such as employment, healthcare, criminal justice, and housing.
